Against Gravity

It was September 4, '06 when i received what i've been waiting for a long time,,, I crossed seas and oceans so i could read it or perhaps hear it,,, No one had agreed with me, not even ma dad,,, he was the first to know about it though,,,,

I planned it in disguise,,, few only had known about it,,, even those, were not certain whether I would take the risk and jump to it or it was one of ma jokes,,, those who were aware of ma intention kept hushed for a while,,, sooner i went unsealing the plan,,, many started rumbling about it,, some with shock, some with wonder,,, others with envy and jealousy,,, and few had wished me good.

i made it, i challenged everyone who doubted what am able to,,, it wasn't an easy thing to move against gravity,,, it wasn't only a physical force but emotional too.

I had to reject an offer that many would accept it blindly with no second thought,,, its just not me, man creates the path to walk tall through,,, and i've chosen the path that rewarded me 'Distinction' in ma graduation project.
